In September of 2019, Troys mom Diane went into the hospital with an intolerable side ache. They discovered her body was riddled with cancer. Troy and I moved Diane into our home to care for her. Three short months later on December 3, 2019 she passed away.

In January of this year Troy had developed a extremely mild, occasion side ache. Three times he went to see a doctor and each time he was told he was fine. During his last visit, Troy demanded that they look closer, so an ultrasound was ordered, during which time a liver mass was
found.

2/28/2020 Troy had a biopsy done of his liver.

3/2/2020 we met with Minnesota Oncology and are told that Troy has Metastatic High Grade Neuroendocrine Tumor of the Cecal Origin, with extensive liver metastasis.

3/25/2020 Troy began chemotherapy, a combination of carboplation and etoposide, given 3 days in a row on a 28 day cycle.

Troy is so strong! Strong in his faith, strong in his will, strong in spirit. We are so thankful for the community of friends and family that we have been blessed with.
