Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Trey had a follow up with his primary Dr. on Jan 4, 2023 after spending Christmas in TN.

A few weeks prior to that trip urgent care treated him for pneumonia. He started feeling worse on the road back from TN to TX. As soon Trey’s primary Doctor reviewed his new X-ray he sent him to ER. He was admitted into the ICU until released to go home on 1/9.

Austin Cancer Center, in Georgetown started treating this grapefruit size-mass like germ cell cancer as we waited for more results. The term they used was poorly differentiated cancer of unknown primary source. The original plan was 4 rounds of chemo treatments (1 week -every day, 2 weeks to recover) in Georgetown, while the Oncologist here continued to work with MDAnderson Cancer Center in Houston. His first treatment was Tuesday 1/10/23. Additional test came back during the 5th round of chemo on Saturday, 1/14. MDAnderson states they have a match with a very rare cancer called Nut Midline carcinoma. This type isn’t treated with just Chemo; but will also require radiation and potentially surgery.

Please leave a Well Wish/Prayer for Trey and Rachel as you are lead. They have almost zero social media presence.
Our faith is strong and we will watch God turn what Satan meant for evil to be used for His Glory!
