In mid September Trevor was playing High School Soccer at Sussex Tech. During this time he started having periods of fatigue and some jaundice in his eyes. After a trip to Doctor and some lab tests our world would be changed drastically. Over the course of 8 weeks Trevor's health progressed from feeling fatigued to becoming very ill requiring a long admission to A. I DuPont. Prognosis went from some type of liver disease that would probably heal over time to currently needing a Liver Transplant.
Over this journey God has still blessed Trevor and our family with small victories. We know God will heal him whether it be from a natural healing or a liver transplant. God has blessed our family with unbelievable support from our church family at Crossroad Community Church and many others from the community including Beebe Medical Center Employees, Indian River School District Employees, various families in our local soccer community, Sussex Tech teachers and coaches, and also many caring people in our Sussex County Community that we do not know that well.
Currently, Trevor is still in A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital awaiting a Liver Transplant. We are thankful for all of the support of the community and we are asking everyone to continue praying for Trevor's full recovery.
