Good morning everyone! On Monday, November 11th Travis visited our regular doctor after experiencing some speech delays (aphasia). He first experienced this two weeks ago approximately. We chalked it up to stress, but after the episodes continued (very intermittently) he decided to visit the doctor. Our regular doctor urged Travis to go to Mankato (which is a larger hospital) to be checked over. We arrived there around 10:30 a.m. yesterday and they completed a physical exam, blood tests, a CT scan and an MRI. Unfortunately the MRI and CT both showed a 2cm secondary glioma brain tumor. We do not know the prognosis as of now, but we will remain positive. Thursday morning we will be in Rochester for a specialized MRI scan where they will give him cues to follow during the scan. This will allow them to map out the tumor a little better. We will also spend part of that day meeting with a neurosurgery team and a neurooncological team. Once we meet with them we will be sure to update accordingly.  We are a fierce bunch with an amazing faith, so I know I don't even need to ask for prayers - they will just happen.
