Travis was diagnosed with a brain tumor called Anaplastic Astrocytoma on March 22nd. He had surgery April 11th in Mayo to resect the tumor. The surgery was very successful but because of what the tumor was made of Travis will have to endure chemo and radiation for 6wks. He will than wait four weeks to go back to Mayo to have a follow up MRI and meet with the medical team down there. If the scan looks clean and no tumor has grown back he will take another around of chemo that is much stronger for at least 4 more months along with frequent MRI scans. If there is any signs of the "beast" we will than proceed to Duke University and hope he will get into a trial there. Thank you all for your support! It has been nothing but motivation to him and heart warming to all of us!
