Tracy was involved in a boating accident on the Mississippi River on Saturday, August 12th, 2017. She was a passenger on a boat traveling south that struck a concrete navigational marker. Tracy was rescued by a caring citizen who retrieved her from the boat prior to it sinking. She was taken by ambulance to Gunderson Hospital in LaCrosse.
