Welcome to our Tracy Bunch CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep Tracy's friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

On Saturday, March 19th, Tracy was rushed by ambulance a Winchester, Tennessee hospital. She remained unresponsive and was then airlifted to Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee where she remains. On Monday, a spinal tap showed she had Meningitis. A more specific diagnosis of viral or bacterial Meningitis is underway; we should know more by Thursday.

Family and friends are staying with Tracy around the clock. She receives small amounts of sedation to keep her calm, squeezes people's hands and opens her eyes occasionally.  Her mom, Barb, stayed with her last night. This morning, Barb wrote the following:
"They took her off sedation for about 20 minutes and I talked to her. I told her it was mama and she was gonna be alright. She tried to mouth something, but knew it was me. I talked to her about stuff and she opened her eyes and looked straight at me."

It's hard for the family to keep everyone posted of Tracy's progress and we're hoping this Caring Bridge site will do the trick. Please use this site to get updates about Tracy's progress and to write your own words of love and encouragement for Tracy and her family. I will make sure they get them, and ...

... Tracy's mom will read every single one to her out loud!!!
