Tracey Russell

On  June 27th Tracey was called back in for some extra pictures after a Mammogram earlier that month.  By the end of that day she had a needle biopsy scheduled. The biopsy, done that Friday, showed that she has invasive mixed carcinoma, both lobular and ductal. The cancer is both estrogen and progesterone positive, as well as HER-2 positive. At this point, the doctors are talking about a lumpectomy, Chemo and radiation, but we will know more after the surgery on the 15th. Her prognosis is excellent, but this will be a hard road.
