Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Tracey Alden, DVM was involved in a serious car accident on 11/19/16. She sustained multiple traumatic injuries including a spinal cord injury.  After spending nearly 2 weeks at  OU Medical Center in the Trauma Unit she transferred to TIRR Memorial Hospital Hermann,  in Houston, Texas. She will need extensive rehab to recover from these injuries.  She is expected to be in rehab for an extended period of time.  The best chance for her to return to her active lifestyle is to go to a specialty rehab hospital out of state.

We are raising $90,000 to fund  this since her insurance company will not cover all of the expenses.

Tracey’s life has been in service to others – volunteering her veterinary services to many members of our community, volunteering for animal shelters, Big Brother Big Sister programs, active in several dog clubs and her church.  Most likely Tracey has touched your life.

Matthew 25:35-40

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Tracey life has been spent in giving to others, now it’s our turn to give back to her.

Here’s how you can help:

1)     Money to fund rehab. Cash/credit donations can be made to her Go Fund Me Account  https://www.gofundme.com/tracey-alden  (https://www.gofundme.com/tracey-alden ) (https://www.gofundme.com/tracey-alden  (https://www.gofundme.com/tracey-alden ))
2)     Donate supplies for her pets  - please contact me for specifics
3)    We may need veterinarian volunteers to make house calls to her clients.
4)  Most importantly, CONTINUED PRAYERS!!
