Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  As most of you know my journey began before birth.  God had a very special plan for me.  Being born almost 3 months early with a birth defect in my airway.    I spent most of my childhood back and forth to Charleston and Greenville having several hundred surgeries.  With the Grace of God I have been able to graduate high school and now prepare for my future.  The doctors in Charleston and Greenville have done all they can for me to this point,  but through God's grace and my mothers research we have found a doctor in Boston MA that specializes in Tracheal Resection.  This will be a very extensive surgery on July 6th but with God's mercy it will open my airway allowing me to have sustainable oxygen to live and function.  I ask you to join me in this adventure and follow my surgery and recovery here.  I also ask you to pray for Dr. Mathisen.  Pray God will lead and guide his hands during this procedure,  pray my body will accept and welcome what he does, and pray for my family to have the strength as they support me in this journey.  God is the Master Physician and I know as he guides the doctors hand I feel so confident in my recovery.  Please share this site with anyone you wish to keep up with me and my recovery.  One can never have enough prayer warriors on her side.  I thank you for your continued prayers and support to me and look forward to reading your comments.  Thank you for your visit here.  XOXO  Tori
