Welcome to our CaringBridge site. I’ve created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.
My mom has been diagnosed with pelvic cancer for the 2nd time. She had exploratory surgery shortly before Christmas. 3 cancerous fast- growing masses were removed and some organs were scraped. She starts Chemo on Monday, January 21st. She will will have 6 treatment each that last 6 hours and goes every 21 days. Radiation will probably follow after.
Just recently she had her follow up appointment and they found more cancer. Doctor is optimistic that chemo will still take care of it. They also determined she is stage 3 with her cancer.
Living with the pain of Cancer and other Cancer complications prevents her from getting to work most of the time. She is choosing to keep a very positive outlook and plans to work when she can.
We will keep our friends and family update on this site often as any changes occur, and your love and prayers are greatly appreciated!
