Toni Groves

Welcome to Toni's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. In November 2021, Toni was diagnosed with stage IV brain and  lung cancer. Since her diagnosis, Toni has undergone a successful craniotomy and targeted brain radiation. She began her lung treatments on February 21st. It will be an aggressive 7 week treatment plan with double chemotherapy treatments on every Monday and daily radiation Monday - Friday. Toni and Gene are grateful for the wonderful community support they have already received from friends and family via thoughtful cards, supportive words, ride to treatments, meals dropped off and caring visitors. Although she is sometimes fatigued she continues to be positive. We understand many are looking for ways to help, we have organized a meal train calendar for 2 times a week meal drop off (accessible via this site under ways to help: meal train), set up gift purchasing for Home Chef via ways to help tab set up Zelle for cash donations (via the ways to help tab) and included a well wishes tab that Toni and Gene can print out weekly. Toni, Gene, Franchetta and Isabella are very grateful for all of the support. They appreciate all of the prayers, words of hope, encouragement and all of the support. Thank you for visiting.
