Tom Stoltmann

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

This is the story of Tom Stoltmann who up until this incident was the main caregiver for his mom who has Dementia.  On Friday, August 31st Tom was working and a patron punched him in the face.   (The details are part of a long story and it involves Tom being sober and a guy likely having too much to drink punching him as hard as he could...for the sake of this site we will not get into the details.  Rather we will focus on Tom’s health, condition and his needs.).

Tom’s orbital bone was fractured during the incident and his eyeball was pushed so far into his head that the doctors immediately did surgery to try and save the eye and ultimately his eyesight.   Now it has been 3 weeks since the initial surgery and the surgeons are trying to save his eyesight and work through his options.
