Tom was in a motorcycle accident last Friday afternoon (8/25) and in his words "My bike and I got in a fight with a car and it won". A car didn't see him and pulled out in front of him causing him to have a c1 vertebra fracture and fractures in the foot/ankle (along with a few bruised ribs and abrasions). He is at Aurora Baycare in Green Bay and just completed his first surgery to fix his neck fracture by fusing the c1 to the skull and the c2/c3/c4 vertebrae with pins & plate. He has feeling in all of his extremities and we are thankful that his surgeon did an amazing job putting him back together! He will be having surgery on his foot/ankle on Wednesday. Please keep him in your prayers and he'll need lots of visitors after he goes home as everyone knows he doesn't like to sit still and he'll be doing that for awhile.
