Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your prayers and words of hope and encouragement.  We walk by faith and trust in sovereign God to go before us.   Thank you for your ongoing prayers.  We are humbled and grateful beyond words. 

Tom was admitted to Aurora Hospital on 12/30/21 with COVID pneumonia.  He was given supplemental oxygen to assist his breathing and continues to require high flow oxygen to maintain acceptable oxygen levels.  By the grace of God, there was a room available and on the first floor! This allowed us visual access to him while we camped outside his room to bolster his spirits in prayer and worship.  Six days later, we were blessed w/a RV which will keep us warmer and still be close to Dad 24/7, who is on constant speaker phone.  It is our hope to get an Ipad in the room for easier viewing.

The ebb and flow of COVID is becoming a reality as Dads health goes up and down several times throughout the day.   However, we know and trust our God, who NEVER changes!! Although Dad is battling the fluid in his lungs, God has already declared victory over his whole body.  Therefore we do not fear the terror of the night. We are praising God that  Mom was able to spend a few hours with him and ask that you pray with us that more visitation time will be allowed.  We see the hand of God working in so many amazing wonderful ways each day.  Dad may be laying in his hospital bed, while we are in the RV, but we know we have all made our dwelling place in the Lord who is our refuge in this storm.  

So many of you have asked how you can help.   We cherish your prayers and believe in the powerful name of Jesus Christ.  Please continue to pray specifically for Dads lungs to be clear of fluid, discernment for a variety of daily decisions big and small, and God's angel armies to protect dad and our family during this time.   If you’re called to do anymore, we would certainly appreciate gas cards for the RV, restaurant or grocery store gift cards.  If cooked meals are needed, we will set up a separate Meal Train and include the link on this site.  We will put any cash donated to offset Dad's medical expenses.  God is so very good and we declare Jesus is Lord!
