Tom Gasser

Tom was finally being rewarded for his hard work, endurance, patience and sheer will and about to perhaps "quiet down" a little and live his dream. He had just moved  to his and Kathy's dream house on the St. Croix  only  a week or so ago with  a commute to his engineering job at Andersen Windows that was too short to even finish a cup of coffee. Their two children, twins - Morgan and Matthew - were happily pursuing their respective passions in College. Two dogs to walk along the river, winter had started so skiing (another passion - Tom is a ski patroller) was beginning. So much was going right.

All changed on the morning  of December 4, 2019 when Tom was struck by a car at 35 mph while walking across Highway 95. (Yes, Tom was in the crosswalk) Gravely injured, Tom is now in an ICU in a coma.  Those of us who know Tom, know that he is tenacious and a fighter and now he is using those skills as he  fights for his life.

Because this event and his current circumstances are the result of a crime, we are wary about people who might want to know his story. But at the same time we want and need all his wonderful friends to join us in supporting him.  To solve this we are asking that you state your relationship to Tom as you join. Please join! His family appreciates all the support already received and it has helped them through this horrible time.
