Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Dad has been fighting non-smokers lung cancer for almost twenty years. They have now found that is genetic. His sister Jean passed away from it at 54. He has had numerous surgeries and cat scans every six months to monitor it with his most recent being last fall. He developed a cough and experienced chest pain since and after repeated doctors visits with no conclusion mom finally convinced him to go to Urgent Care a couple of weeks ago where they did a cat scan and found peanut sized tumors lining his lung and inside his lung as well. A completely different type of cancer. Further scans showed it had moved to a lymph node on his neck.

Dad has always been a model of health. An avid runner up into his early seventies, eats nothing but healthy food  and has literally been the epitome of a healthy person despite all of this. Doctor's refused to do chemo to treat it because of this.

But here we are. Fighting with everything we have. Still baffled as to why he is going through so much pain but we have to believe God is with him and has his plan.

We welcome all if your encouraging words of love and prayers as we go through this as a family and we promise to keep everyone posted.   Dad has access to this website and will be able to see your outpouring of love. It means so much to him, and to us as a family.

Thank you for visiting and for keeping us in your prayers.
