Tom's story...hunh....that's a loaded statement. The story of how we got here is pretty brief, but makes you scratch your head. Just after Christmas Tom was coughing blood intermittently. (Yah-red flag.) In two long weeks we found out it wasn't sinus infection or bronchitis, and it wasn't his awesome stomach flaring up, but it was something pulmonary that looked like and acted like a carcinoid tumor. We are super hopeful and believe that with removal of the tumor, and the lung, that Tom will be in great shape.
