It all started in February noticing an irregular heartbeat.  Waited until the scheduled MRI until End of July to find out there was a mass on his heart. This is a very rare thing to have. Soooooo Since then it has been a road of testing and biopsy and waiting, more waiting and more waiting.  Great thing is the blood flow within  the heart is all good. All lymph nodes surrounding the heart came back non cancerous but the doctors still aren’t sure where this mass came from or if it is cancerous. That leads us to where we are today. We got referred to one of the best surgeons in the nation at Texas heart Institute as removing this mass is not an easy task. On Wednesday October 27th Tom will  have open heart surgery to remove the mass and possibly do bypass if surrounding areas need fixing from removal.  So here we are on the road to Texas.  2 day trip.
