Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using this site to keep all family and friends updated in one place. There is no easy way to tell the people you love bad news. Tom has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. To date we know that he has a 10.5 cm tumor in his esophagus. He will have a final Pet Scan on Weds. June 9th. They believe that the cancer is contained within his esophagus. This is very good news. Shortly he will begin chemo and radiation therapy followed by surgery for the removal of the tumor. We remain optimistic and hope to be back home in Mexico soon. Glynda will be returning to Mexico for a short time to secure our condo and deal with business issues. She will return as quickly as possible to care for Tom. Our daughter will care for Tom while Glynda is gone. All updates will be entered on this site.
