In February, Tom was diagnosed with a cystic mass on the head of his pancreas that is roughly 6 cm in size. Tom had two biopsies and there was conflicting data of the exact make up the mass. After many consultations and careful deliberations it was decided Tom should a Whipple procedure to remove the mass. Tuesday, July 23rd Tom will undergo this procedure at Columbia Presbyterian in New York City. We welcome you to our CaringBridge website.
