I was diagnosed with BC on Thursday, November 17, 2017. My immediate family has been there for me every step of the way. My BC was stage 1, grade 1. A lumpectomy was done Monday, December 11, 2017. Found out I have a serious allergic reaction to the methylene blue dye. Anaphylaxis. I'm cancer free &will be starting radiation the week of January 8, 2018. It should last a week. I am having partial breast radiation by the Dr inserting a port into my breast. I have been placed on an estrogen blocker called letrozole that I take for 5 yrs. I have also been placed on a high dosage of Vitamin D that I take for 12 weeks. I will have a bone scan on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. I'm posting my updates here in order to keep anyone truly interested informed.
