Friday

On Friday, October 14 Todd and Eric had a 4 wheeler accident at the Deer Shack
near Warroad, Minnesota. Todd was airlifted to the Grand Forks, North Dakota
hospital from the scene. Eric had his helicopter ride from the Roseau,
Minnesota Hospital a little later and was also taken to Grand Forks. After the
doctors examined him at Grand Forks they stitched the gash in his head and
released him late Friday night.
Friday night Todd had surgery to take care of a blood clot behind his left temple
which is fractured along with other bones in the face.

Saturday
He was sedated Saturday to let his brain rest because he had a seizure in the helicopter.
Saturday was a day of rest for Todd.

Sunday
I will not go into great detail. Sunday's goals were to get the ventilation tube out
along with other probes and wires out. When Kim would say his name he opened
his eyes, squeezed her hand, moved his toes and fingers, he knew left from
right. By the end of the day he  was answering questions and had his 'Todd' sense of humor
with the nurse.
