Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On July 4th, Todd suffered a spinal cord injury during a swimming accident. He has multiple fractures in his c5 vertebrae in the neck. His injury is considered incomplete, which is better because there is no severing of the spinal cord. He has no voluntary movement in the lower extremities but is able to move his arms. He can feel touch and has tingling all over. The doctors say time will tell what the outcome will be as his spinal cord comes out of shock and tries to heal. He will have to have a spinal surgery at some point to fix the fractures and stabilize his neck but we don’t yet know when that will be.

We do not know what the future holds but each day we are seeing positive things such as today he was able to bend a flex his wrists and had some reflex reactions in his legs.

Please pray for him. He is fighting hard and trying his best!

We feel so blessed and thankful to have such a tremendous outpouring of love and support. I will post updates here and please share this with others!
