Up until several months ago, Todd had never went to a doctor and could not have told you who his primary care physician was because he was as healthy as a catered Thoroughbred Race Horse. In late 2019 Todd began to experience intense back pain which took him to his knees, had a hard time sitting for extended periods of time, was fatigued and not feeling like himself. It was time for Todd to go see a doctor about why he wasn't feeling like himself. With multiple tests and the grace of God, it was determined at first that he had one aneurysm on his aorta, which through many tests it was determined that it was not only one, but multiple. Concerning aneurisms, they typically go undetected and can burst leading to massive internal bleeding and a sad outcome. The great news is that Todd's aneurysms have been identified, a team of the Nation's finest surgeons at Baylor University in Texas will be conducting surgery to replace the entire aorta Friday March 6, 2020 and the procedure will result with a lengthy recovery of 3-12 months with an anticipated "Todd The Bod" back in full action by 2021! Watch out World...this man's best is yet to come!
Surgery is scheduled for Todd today starting at 7:00AM and will be a 8-10 hour process. We will update you on the progress as the next 24-48 hours unfold. As there are many complications that can arise from a surgery of this extent, prayers are focused on the current aorta holding strong until the surgery, a seamless and successful surgery, and a rapid, God driven recovery to full health.
