Dear family and dear friends, Terry has just been diagnosed with end-stage pancreatic cancer. There were few symptoms until just a month ago. By then it was too late to try and fight it with surgery or chemotherapy because of it's size and involvement with several blood vessels and arteries. Chemo could perhaps give him a couple more months, but he has chosen to fight for his vitality and peace so that he can spend quality time with his friends and family. The prognosis is 3-6 months.
We are receiving hospice care at home, so though in constant pain, they give him whatever meds he needs so he can tolerate it and rest comfortably.
