Now in my third battle with Cancer, I  learned in late January 2022 that I am fighting aggressive stage 4 gallbladder cancer has invaded my liver.  An MRI in February revealed that surgical removal is not an opyion.  This week (March 23, 2022),Angie and I visited the Liver Transplant Center at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia for a consultation.   We learned that removing the liver and replacing it is not an option because they could not see a positive outcome for me in this scenario.  They recommended that I follow the chemo & immunotherapy plan developed by my Medical Oncologist at Wake Forest Comprehensive Cancer Center, and seek any relevant clinical trials for my type of cancer.
