On August 22nd my father woke up in the morning with a bad stomach ache as we were about to leave for work. It was just another routine day and he was in the greatest of health to this point. I told him to stop into the local ER and see what’s wrong and to let me know what they find out. 15 minutes later I get a call from the ER doctors telling me that my father has to be life flighted up to Cleveland Hospital ASAP or he’s not going live.
He suffered a major Aorta Aneurism above his kidneys. 7 weeks later he is still in ICU fighting for his life.
It’s been physically and mentally exhausting for me and my family to go through this but prayers and high spirits have kept us all together.
Like I have always said during my life that my parents are my true heroes and always will be.
I hope everyone here is doing well and a word of advice is to spend as much time as you can with family because you never know what tomorrow brings.
