On Saturday, November 4, as Tim was checking in for the ND game, he suffered a heart attack. Thanks to the quick response of bystanders, they were able to get him emergency care at the site, and an ambulance was called. He was transported to Memorial Hospital, and is in the Cardiac ICU where he is being treated.
Tim is in stable, but critical condition. He is being kept unconscious, and his body has been cooled to aid in his recovery. After 24 hours, they will bring his body temp up over a 12 hour period , when they will then allow him to wake up naturally. This should happen sometime Tuesday morning. Until then, we are in a holding pattern, hoping and praying that his body is healing itself with the help of the doctors and nurses here at Memorial.
