A few years ago, a mole was removed from my abdomen; the biopsy was negative. Recently, the mole returned and now has been diagnosed as melanoma. It has spread to a lymph node, but a PET scan shows no metastases to the organs. This makes it a Stage III diagnosis.
The outpouring of support and the love and kindness of so many friends is so special and so inspiring and the strength it brings is what is needed to fight and beat this.
I will be in Houston Texas at the MD Anderson Cancer Center for analysis and treatment in the upcoming week(s).
