Tim Goshorn

We are writing with heavy and broken hearts to let the community know our beloved Tim Goshorn has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Large non-small cell Lung Cancer(NSCLC);adenocarcinoma. Everything has happened faster than we could imagine, and we are facing an uphill battle. He completed radiation for his spine, YAY! Now we need help with the next steps to follow helping Tim fight, but also and most importantly the support he will need for quality of life. As you all know Tim is loved in the community and all of our hearts. He dedicated his life to playing music that got us dancing and singing for over 40 years. If you have had the pleasure of meeting or hearing Tim play, you know his  kind laugh and soul brings a warmth and smile to all those around him. The only thing Tim loves more than music is his son Cody and Fiance Leah. We would like to return the love to him by helping alleviate the expenses and pressure that has all of a sudden been put on him and his loved ones. 

Recently we had Tim tested for the PDL1 mutation; which if positive would have given us the opportunity to use immunotherapy (helps break the cancer enough to allow his immune system to fight and contain the cancer). The wind was taken out of our sails yesterday when we found out he is not eligible for this treatment. However, we ARE NOT GIVING UP!  


Right now we are exploring all next steps from chemotherapy, to integrative health strategies, supplements, and home health care. Unfortunately he does not have Insurance in Ohio, so all coverage of expenses will be out of pocket. No one can prepare you for news like this, and the truth is the financial burden is real. This has taken a toll both physically, emotionally, and financially as Tim and Leah are a couple in the Arts, as a Musician and Photographer.  So we are asking for any donation to help out with the increasing expenses that come for our beloved Tim.
