After my planned weight loss of 50lb over the last year(for blood sugar control), over the next three or four weeks I continued to lose another 25lb. During this same period I developed fairly frequent drenching night sweats. It is hard to explain these sweats but I could not be more drenched if I had been standing in the shower.
Along this same time my doctor and I had decided to really get to the bottom of this cough - throat clearing thing I have. And multiple blood tests and panels It was determined that something completely unrelated was going on in my body.
Now I will condense the story.
Fast forward through last three weeks, multiple panels of blood work, CT SCANS, PET SCANS and as of lately an excised lymph node, it is determined that I have some form of lymphoma.
We will know hopefully very soon what type I have. There are about 75 different types of lymphomas. And each group and subgroup have different treatments. Once we know that type we will have a plan.
I covet your prayers.
Moral of the story. If you doctors tell you to lose weight for blood sugar... the don’t.
