Tim Galvin

First post: Nov 8, 2020
In the fall of 2019 after experiencing some issues swallowing, Tim was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer.   Under the care of the team at the UW Carbone Cancer Center, Tim began chemotherapy, radiation, and immunology.  Tim had surgery to remove a segment of his esophagus in March of 2020 with the hope that this would keep the cancer at bay.  Unfortunately, the cancer had other plans and it has metastasized to his liver, pelvis, and shoulder.  It has progressed to Stage 4, and Tim's treatment is now palliative in nature.
