A few months back Tim noticed a mole on his thigh, it kept growing. On Monday, February 3rd, 2020, I asked him to take a picture so I could show one of my dermatology doctors. Dr. Ahmed looked at it & booked an appointment that Wednesday (Feb 5) to have it biopsied. The following Monday, February 10th, results came back & it was malignant melanoma stage 2 because of its size (4.2mm) On Tuesday, February 11th we got him in to see  the surgery team. They  scheduled surgery for yesterday, February 25th.(our Jonathan’s 10th Birthday)  They did a wide leg excision & sentinel lymph node biopsy. Surgery went very well. He is very sore as it was  quite the surgery. We won’t have results on the lymph node until next week. We are hoping & praying for what we are calling “Option A”.  We are asking to please keep Tim in your prayers as we are just beginning on this cancer journey!  May God bless you!!!💙🙏🏼
