Tim didn't have any obvious symptoms until Sunday April 29th. He was making breakfast and a headache came on with an intensity where he just had to go and lay down. He got a bit better after some rest and tylenol. Some variation of the headache returned each day of the week. I (Erin)  was out of town when he had a headache that endured for a solid day paired with vomiting. I came home from my trip early after talking with him by phone and took him to our local ER Sunday night. His tumor was visible on the CT scan and the ER doc had already called a neuro surgeon for us to meet with the following morning.  We were handed off to the team at University Hospital in SLC where Tim had the tumor removed Wednesday May 9. The surgery went well and Tim recovered enough for us to come home by Saturday the 12.

This is the beginning of the story...
