Ezekiel Richard & Octavia Rose Tiemeyer Loving You From A to Z

Welcome to Octavia & Ezekiel's CaringBridge page. We are using this platform to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your prayers, support, and words of hope and encouragement during this time. 

Our babies were born at 34 weeks gestation (6 weeks early). They are both fighters and are everything we have ever wanted. 💙💗

At this time, mom has been discharged from the hospital and we’ve started the long days of commuting back and forth to the hospital to visit our babies. Mom is at Helen DeVos daily 12PM - 12AM. Dad is at Helen DeVos daily after work until 12AM. They say to prepare for our babies to be in the NICU until their due date, August 17. We know they are well taken care of and that they need this time to grow and develop but this is the hardest thing we have ever done; however, they have both already made positive strides in their first week of life!!💙💗 In order to come home with us both babies have to achieve or pass a list of milestones and requirements, and it will take some time. With that being said, our new home is Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital NICU with our babies.

Thank you to all whom have reached out. We truly appreciate the kind words of encouragement and the prayers. We are unbelievably blessed with great friends and family, and I’m so sorry for my lack of or delayed responses - our plate is quite full.
