Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. You have all been overwhelming in your support and kind words and because of that we have found it challenging to respond and keep everyone updated. In an attempt to be sure that everyone has one source of information we established this website that we will keep updated over the coming days. As may or may not be aware Thom had become very ill three years ago due to the end stage effects of HIV in August 2013 and was hospitalized for a couple of weeks. At that time he was discharged home on hospice. Defying all the odds we were able to nurse him back to health with some good nutrition, rest etc. and he was discharged from hospice in Dec 2013. He was happy to be kicked out of hospice!!! Over the last three years he has done quite well and was able to welcome our first great nephew, Hunter, who he adores and attend four of our nieces/nephews weddings. WE have had some good trips over these three years and he actually was able to perform in Oliver a couple years ago. Unfortunately earlier this year his health began to deteriorate and he has been readmitted to hospice as we continue this journey of the sunset of his fun filled, vivacious life. We do appreciate everyone's kind words and thoughts.
