Just a little over a month ago we got the devastated news that no family wants to get.My dad went for a routine lab work and it came back abnormal.So they sent him to Iowa City(va hospital).to have labs drawn and the results come back with results they couldn't figure out.so we had to go back for 2 bone marrow biopsies and the results come back positive for a blood cancer called"multiple myeloma" .So last week he started chemo injections and tonight he started cancer pills.he goes once a week for 4 months then we go back for another biopsy.and then they've I'll decide if he has to go to Nashville for a transplant.
