In early May, Thomas Levergood was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer that had spread to the liver. While the advanced progression of the cancer placed a cure out of reach, Thomas’s medical team was optimistic that chemotherapy treatment could help prolong his life. Given Thomas’s declining health, his medical team has now decided that further chemotherapy treatment is no longer feasible.
Thomas will soon return home, where he will receive the best hospice and spiritual care. While he is not able to receive phone calls, every effort will be made to ensure that messages left here in the well wishes tab will be shared with Thomas. When he is able to receive visitors in his home, more details will be provided. Even as everyone who loves Thomas will not be able to make the journey to see him, we welcome you to accompany him spiritually in prayer during this time.
