Today Saturday September 10th Tom was taken by ambulance to Piedmont hospital. He has been having problems with his neck for over a year. In one week he went from being able to walk and feed himself to walking with a walker not being able to use his hands. Friday we saw a neuro surgeon and Saturday we had to call an ambulance.

The surgeon said he would operate on Sunday instead of Thursday since it's not good to keep him in a bed till Thursday.

His spinal cord is being pinched as well as some other things going on with the vertebrae.

This is a nutshell. Dr. said outcome should be at least back to where he was before neck problem. Everyone is different. Again nutshell.

Will keep updates on caringbridge.

Thank you for your prayers.

Love,

Tom&Susie
