Hi everything is going along fine ( pre operation) passed all hurdles for OHS @ Hoag Newport. Dr Anthony Caffarelli is the surgeon.   Only thing in the way is to pass the Covid 19 test.    Plan is to stay in the hospital 4 to 5 days .  I check in at 7:30 on Wednesday  actual surgery to start 11:30 ish may take 5 ish hours ( lots of stuff to hook up etc) then to ICU FOR 1 1/2 days. Do not think any information will be available until mid day ThursdayThe aneurysm will replaced with Dacron and the valve will EDWARDS INSPIRIS RESILIA ( The Corvette of  Valves ) Barb and I are doing great . Most Bicuspid people   2% of the population (2 flaps  NOT three) have valve replacements in their 40's 50's and early  60's. Well mine is 77.  The Lord  took good care of me and has surrounded me with a great family and friends.  ROLL TIDE. GO YANKEES
