Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in October of 2019 and ended my treatment February 2020. I went in for my 6 month post-chemo scan and received news no one ever wants to hear: Its back, and Stage 4. Please read my blog entry “The Diagnosis” for more information on what this means.

This time around, I decided to do a blog to keep everyone updated in the same place. Please make sure to click "Follow" if you want to get an e-mail every time there is an update. I am blown away at the amount of calls and texts from you all checking in on me. Please still feel free to do that—this blog is just a way that I can write down all the details so I don't forget to tell you something. The text and calls DO NOT bother me and are NOT a burden! They help lift me up, and I love talking to you all. If I'm tired or need rest, then I just won't respond right away, but please never feel shy checking in on me :)

Philip, Shannon and my Mom are able to post too—I have given them permission to tell you all the good, bad and the ugly. "Sorry guys, she looks and feels like a homeless rat so she hasn't been able to give an update in a few days—here's what's really going on." It's all part of the process, right?!

PLEASE NOTE: The “donate” button (and "Tributes" section) is required by the website and pays CaringBridge — not us! WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR DONATIONS, so please do not donate to them unless you want to. If you are looking for ways to help us please get in touch with Shannon: she will let you know what we need. Thank you! Again, please make sure to click "follow" if you want to get an e-mail every time there is an update.
