On Friday October 15th, I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.  It was a big shock as I had no symptoms. The only reason I found out was due to chest X-Rays that where taken when I got pneumonia; they could see the tumors.   Between the MRIs, Cat Scans, Biopsys, waiting to find out results, and having to telling my family and fiends; I can honestly say, I am exhausted and just want treatment to start.

No cancer is good but after all the tests; the tumors(Plasmacytoma) I have are one of the better kinds to have as radiation is normally all that is needed in treatment.  There is still a long why to go and more tests are need to make sure that it didn't spread to other parts of my body but the doctors are hopeful.  As more details come out and results come back, I will update those findings in the Journal part of the webpage.

After all the medical and emotional stuff the comes with cancer, not having my income is the heaviest on our hearts.  While we have medical insurance, I was working part time so short and long term disability where not part of my benefits package which means my part of the income will not be coming in until I can go back to work.  I know that I serve a big God and he always has and will take care of us, it is just hard not knowing how.

Please pray for me and my family as we continue down the path of recovery.  Pray for healing, peace, guidance, and provisioning in our lives.

God Bless
Theresa
