Mom always thought it was of upmost importance to keep up with sick family members. In fact, it became a culture in our family. Her love for family runs deep. Really any family especially her own.
So in Moms tradition, I will do my bestie to keep you engaged as mom enters this final journey.
It took me a long time to understand why this was so important to her. Her reason beyond love can be found in this verse:
The biblical text which speaks of Jesus promising his presence with two or three gathered together is Matthew 18:20. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them"
