Theodore Durham

Theodore William Durham took us by surprise and came three weeks early, he was born on April 12, 2016. After birth they noticed him breathing hard and was put on CPAP. He was transfered to White Plains Hospital that night. We spent two days there until they heard a slight heart murmur and did an echocardigram. This is when they discovered that little Theo has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), we were then transfered to Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital in Manhattan. HLHS is where the left side of the heart is severly underdeveloped. He will have to have three surgeries overall. One within the first week or so of birth, and the other two will be over the course of the next three years. We appreciate all of the love support we have gotten from our family and friends! And we ask for prayers for our strong little man!
