On March 6, the wonderful Luksis family grew by four tiny hands. Addison Roe Luksis and Charlotte Jane Luksis were born at 5:40 pm and 5:43 pm, weighing in at 5lbs 3oz and 5lbs 11oz. Unfortunately, Amanda and Jay were only able to bring one of the girls home earlier this week. Addison (Addie) was transferred to the University of Maryland NICU with a heart condition that will require an extended stay in the hospital and open heart surgery.
Amanda and Jay appreciate any and all help during this time of change, transition, and frequent trips to UMD. They have specifically requested meals that can be easily frozen. They have no specific dietary restrictions.
Let's continue to pray for their new family of 5, especially Addie. This is a family that always helps any friend or neighbor with open arms, so now it is our turn to show them how much we care!
