I have to take lots of yucky medicines, so the bright side is, I never have to taste them, they go through the tube straight to my belly!! My mom makes all my food from scratch, and it is all fruits, veggies, meats and yogurt. She works hard at it, but I am the best fed kid around!! She also has me on a lot of vitamins and supplements. All this can be kinda expensive, but Mom says "GOD always provides!!"
I have a lot of great friends, family and prayer warriors. That big brother of mine, Sammy, HE IS TERRIFIC!! He is 11 years old and he thinks I am wonderful!He likes to play with me, Mom says we get a little too rough sometimes but I like it!! He helps me try to eat too... which is not my favorite activity! It is just me, Sammy and my Mommy right now. We keep mommy very busy but she says "idle hands are the Devils workshop" . So, I guess we actually do her a favor!!
My father is Glenn. He thinks I am a very special little girl. He lives in Statesville, but comes to visit me!I have other family too. My Pop-pop, Grandma and Poppa Ted are my grandparents on my mommy's side. They all live in NC, and so does my Aunt Melany. My Uncle Kev, Aunt TiTi, Cousin Johnny live in DE. My Dads Mom, my Me-Maw and more of the Hedrick side live in Statesville. I don't get to see them much because of how intensive and busy my care is. I have a some very special people in my life like my CNA's, my therapists, and my teachers. Then there are those wonderful wonderful friends to my Mommy, and they love me and my brother more than spit!! :) Aunt Adrienne, Uncle Rodney are just a few of the folks Mommy could not live without.My silly Mommy celebrates 1/2 birthdays. She sings "made-up" silly songs and just loves to make me and my brother laugh. We are actually a whole family of goofballs!!!
My birthday is August 13th. I love music, The Fresh Beat band, VeggieTales, and Elmo!! I am VERY curious!!! I can't talk, or eat yet, but I am working on it. I got kinda behind because I have spent almost a year of my life in the hospital! But now, I have a prosthetic metal valve in my heart, and a pacemaker, so my heart is working good for the first time in my life. I plan on getting MOVING and YAPPING!!! Mommy says God has a special plan for my life, and for our family. So, please pray for Gods plan, and the grace to enjoy it for all of us.
