Bill Armstrong

On Thanksgiving Day, minutes after carving the turkey and laughing with his son-in-law, Bill sat down to eat with his family and started to experience the symptoms of a stroke. His two daughters sitting across from him noticed the telltale signs right away and alerted my mom who got him to GBMC from Monkton in record time. Bill suffered a moderate ischemic stroke but got to the hospital in time to receive immediate care and the time sensitive drug, TPA. He is currently stable but experiencing left side immobility and is awaiting a transfer to an acute neuro rehabilitation facility. Come back for updates and please keep Bill in your daily prayers. At this time, visitors outside of immediate family are not allowed due to the brain sensitivity he is experiencing. We so appreciate your prayers. Lots of Love, the Armstrong Family
