Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Terry is a wonderful man.  Loves his boys, grandsons, family, nature, babies, fishing, softball, baseball, packers, our land, the log home we built, our neighbors, his friends. He is a man that will look at a deer in our yard, and be amazed at the beauty, but also hunt and respect the animal he shot.

He will catch a fish, that swallowed  the hook and apologize to that fish that he hurt him.  He will change a diaper at a moment notice, cuddle a toddler or baby and let them fall to sleep with his heart values clicking, in their ear as he holds them. He will help any neighbor needing help, and holds on to the friends/ pals he has had for years,.   I fell in love with him because of the "Hartman Shit eating grin." those that know him know what I am saying. He is a man that only wanted family and friends, .  sometime on Feb 23rd he had a stroke, but it did not become apparent until Feb 25th, and I took him to Mayo in Eau Claire who flew him to Rochester.  He had a drain in his head to drain out the extra CSF and blood in his brain.  He had contracted Hydrocephalus, so they ended having to but a VP shunt from his brain to his stomach which will be permanent.  Physically he is find, but mentally he has short term and long term memory issues...  We just want him back.
