Welcome to our site. Our family is learning that friends support and prayers are all part of the future cure.
Here is Terri's Story:
Although I had been aware that my chances for developing ovarian cancer were higher because my beloved sister, Trudy, was taken away by this dreadful disease in 2013, I really believed I had caught it in a first or second stage when I went in for the staging surgery on August 23. 2016. When I awoke from surgery to the stage III diagnosis, I was surprised and angry because I had tried hard to catch it earlier.
The good news is that remission rate is 4/5 and the quality of life after treatment has been improved since my sister’s journey.
I am determined to persevere through my treatment plan. What makes it more likely that I’ll follow through on that resolve is the love and support of my family, my friends and all the prayers, especially from my fellow parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena Church.
I thank you for your concern, prayers and interest for my healing.
I thank you for the good wishes many have sent me. My family will be using this site to post ways you can help over the next few months.
